everything is looking 'rosey' for Rachel and Kevin

my dear friend Lizzy was kind enough to let me help her throw our other best friend Rachel a bridal shower last week.
the theme was "everything is looking rosey for Rachel and Kevin"
we decorated with roses, coral and light blue.

we had a sit down dinner on Lizzy's back porch by her pool.
here is the table:

these were the favors- little pots of roses

 dessert table

i decorated my cupcakes with rose skirts and blue flags

we had chicken salad croissants, salad, strawberries, blueberries and breadsticks

 here is our cute table
it was so lovely to sit with good friends with yummy food in such a nice setting.

anne

sometimes when your older sister is sick and so is her husband,
there is nothing to do but steal their baby girl for a week.
stefi and i played mommy to anne for some pretty wild and fun days.
man, that little girl is the best.

birthday belgian waffles

when andrew and i finally got around to celebrating his birthday we went in style
aka
Bruges in downtown Salt Lake!
Bruges has the most authentic Belgian Waffles,
it was started by two Belgian brothers so it is the real deal
they import all their ingredients from Europe and in a word: divine!!!!

this is our 2nd annual birthday celebration for mister andrew darling. the first year i made him dinner and cupcakes, but i think this year was defiantly an upgrade. going to Bruges is such a treat

year one and two

we waited to go out till andrew got back from his trip to Europe
he went on a business trip and was the Netherlands, France and Belgium
he actually got to visit 4 out of the 5 cities he served in as a missionary
so having just been in Belgium (as well as lived there for 2 years) he can authoritatively say Bruges are the closest you can get outside of Belgium

it was pleasant evening so we ate outside and just chatted away
so happy we are friends and we could celebrate together

camilia's wedding

this weekend i was a bridesmaid for my good friend Camilia
she and i were room mates when i came home from Jerusalem and before she left for London
she married her bff Taylor and it was so fun to be there when they were dating and fell in love

the day started up at the Logan Temple for their sealing
they were so happy and she looked stunning
her dress, veil and bouquet were beautiful

the luncheon was at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building
and the reception at Salt Lake Hardware Building

i loved everything about the reception. Cam had such a cute theme and it turned out so well
Cam and I made all those banners- we cut them out of burlap

dessert table:

loved the tree ring as the cake stand

guests signed vintage post cards to sign in
i really loved the exposed beams with the brick arches
also the string of lights and banners were just adorable.
here are the cupcakes i made for the reception

 all the girls

there was dancing later on and it was a total blast
i also even caught the bouquet (that was a laugh)
it was  great day and i felt so lucky to be apart of it
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW MRS. CAMILIA LUND!
