for president's weekend mom and i headed up to logan to see our anne girl

(who turns 2 next week!)

my favorite moment was when she sang along to the same cassette tape of Raffi songs i used as a kid.

she was also dressed up in her tinkerbell dress and danced with a balloon in one hand and my old pink razor phone i gave to her as a toy in the other.

at one point she got concerned that her "wings stop working. its stuck" haha

our dear fhe brother jon graduated last semester and was offered a sweet job.

it's an awesome opportunity and he is really excited about it

but........

the only problem is that it is in far away california

we are really going to miss him

so my whole apt (tahna was there in spirit) took him out to a farewell dinner

we just wanted to show him that we love him and will miss him

i hope he felt like one lucky dog having 3 cute girls treat him to dinner

good thing he is living in san fran-

it will be much more fun to go visit him in an awesome city like that

i love this day so much- it makes me happy!

i painted hearts on my nails and am sporting my v day outfit-

which includes a solid silver sequin top

this weekend i went an outrageously fun group date to celebrate this grand holiday.

there were 10 couples and it was one good time, let me tell ya.

we had heart shaped pizza, chocolate fondue and played games till we cried of laughter.

this picture won us 'most photogenic'

i was the last girl standing for musical chairs and by golly i won

the girls were champions again for the couch game- that was one intense game of boys vs. girls

v-day cupcakes

as per my own valentines day tradition i made chocolate cupcakes with bavarian cream

and this year i had an awesome helper.

last week alvin taught me how to play tennis so as a trade i taught him how to bake.

look at how he uses that pastry bag- he was quite the excellent student
